Henry loves school until he encounters a problem. He can’t get rid of his hiccups. He tries a number of ways to get rid of them, but no matter what he does, his hiccups keep getting in the way of correctly answering the teacher’s questions. That is until he discovers a new way of answering questions without speaking – sign language.

Meet the Author
Lauren Barrett was born in New Jersey, grew up in West Virginia, went to college in Pennsylvania, and now lives and works in North Carolina. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a degree in Deaf Education. She has her Master's in Reading Education. She is currently a high school teacher of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing by day, a cross country coach by the afternoon, a writer by her son's nap times, and a full time mom to an amazing toddler. Meet the Illustrator
Jojo Pantoja was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida and then North Carolina growing up. They Graduated from Athens Drive High School back in 2014 as a former deaf/Hard of hearing student of Lauren's. Doing art such as drawing and painting has been a skill since they were a toddler. Their dog and 2 cats are their bestfriend. They believe if they can take steps forward in life, You can too. Never give up. This children’s book is easy to read to your child or for kids reading on their own. The story was fun and educational. Great illustrations!
Little ones of all ages will enjoy it. Such a cute little story and great way to introduce sign language. My daughter is still talking about her hiccups after reading this sweet book.

I just got this book to read to my 1 1/2 year old And she loved me reading it to her!! The art is awesome !
This book is great! My son is 3 and non verbal so he definitely enjoyed seeing me do all the signs that are in the back. The illustrations are great. Definitely recommend this book for all children❤
